A born and bred New Yorker, Amaya grew up between Harlem and the Upper West Side. Her family comes from the US & British Virgin Islands, where she visits as much as she can. Amaya began modeling in 2020 during the pandemic– signing her first contract on her 18th birthday. Her first job was an e-commerce campaign with Nike and she has been building her portfolio ever since. Recently, commercials she shot for LEE Jeans played on YouTube and Hulu, delighting her friends and family who saw her on their screens. Amaya radiated energy, and a Puma campaign she was featured in came to her when she was scouted by Puma’s creative director on the street. Outside of modeling, Amaya loves to make candles, play every sport you can imagine, and interior decorating. Additionally, she is an aspiring musician, which she hopes to make her primary creative outlet going forward.
