Luanna had a fairytale entrance to the modeling world– discovered by a famous actress while working in a hair salon in her home country, Brazil. She did an editorial shoot for Ela O Globo, a local Brazilian magazine, showcasing the streets and beauty of Lapa, the neighborhood she was raised in. More recently, she did a campaign with Esteé Lauder that was played in taxis across New York City, as well as an editorial in Rio for i-D magazine, a number of Mac Cosmetics campaigns, and a shoot with SKIMS. In addition to her modeling work, Luanna is a musician– she recently released her first EP “Out of Love” under the name Shelves, which was highlighted in Times Square, and hopes to master the drums soon.
