Born in South Sudan, Adeng relocated to the United States at the age of 8 after being sponsored by a family in Idaho, allowing her and her family to escape a refugee camp. She launched her international career after moving to New York City in 2018 and has since walked in Pyer Moss’s S/S ‘19 and Eckhaus Latta’s F/W ‘19, appeared in major campaigns for Bobbi Brown, Thom Browne, and Vince, as well as editorials in Allure Magazine and Grazia China. Adeng is known far and wide for her generosity, volunteering for the organization God’s Love We Deliver, where she packages and transports meals to those in need. She loves to nourish those around her, whether they be strangers or loved ones, and she’s currently starting her own vegan snack company Madid's Eggplant Spread.
